Find your teacher’s name below and click on it to view your Classroom’s page.

The Students page is the place to be for Maximo Students. Do you need help with your homework? Or maybe you just want to find out what’s on the lunch menu? Well, you’ve come to the right place.

Here, you can view your teacher’s Web site and explore what other students are doing in the Student Showcase. You’ll find fun ways to learn more on our Educational Resources page. You can also connect to the Media Center and read about the MicroSociety® and Visual Arts Magnet Program.

Maximo Elementary, A Visual Arts Magnet School

Inspiring students, inspiring creativity

The Visual Arts Program strives to give each student the most well-rounded artistic experience possible. In our classrooms, students practice many different media, such as drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, and ceramics. In order to experience art media to their fullest potential, students study artists from around the world and their inspiring works.

Digital Arts are an important part of the program. Students also have the opportunity to experience art on a digital level. The use of digital drawing pads, commercial design, and digital photography are some of the programs students participate in throughout the school year.

The art curriculum at Maximo is aligned with Florida Sunshine State Standards.
